IVC (Inferior Vena Cava) Filters

Yaeger Law is handing IVC Filter cases against Bard and Cook. IVC Filters are medical devices created to prevent blood clots from reaching the heart or lungs. IVC Filters are both temporary and permanent. The temporary IVC Filters are designed to be removable after the threat of a blood clot has passed. Thousands of IVC Filter lawsuits have been filed claiming the manufacturers were negligent in the design of the IVC Filters. Patients have experienced bleeding, organ damage, chronic pain and breakage of the IVC Filter allowing metal fragments to move through the blood and damage organs. If the IVC Filter fragments reach the heart or lungs, patients experience chest pain, heart issues, shortness of breath, internal bleeding, pulmonary embolism, stroke, and sometimes death.

If you or a loved one experienced complications or injuries, you may be entitled to compensation.
